Who we are

Parts & Patina sells pre-owned wristwatches in the Washington DC metropolitan area. You can reach us at hello@partsandpatina.com.

What we collect

Only what you give us, and basic technical data:

• Contact details you send us — your name, email address, and phone number if you provide one.
• Your messages about a watch you're interested in.
• Basic technical data — IP address and which page you arrived on, so we know which listings people look at.

This site has no account sign-up and takes no payments, so we never see card details.

How we use it

To answer your enquiry, arrange a sale, and keep records of transactions we've made. We don't use it for anything else.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share the minimum necessary with the service providers who run our email and hosting, and we disclose information where the law requires it or where it's necessary to report or investigate a stolen item.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead anywhere are deleted after two years. Records of a completed sale are kept at least five years, because we may need to show where a watch came from.

Your choices

Ask us and we'll tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — except records of a completed sale, which we're obliged to keep. Email hello@partsandpatina.com. Virginia residents have additional rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act; the same address reaches us for those requests.

Children

This site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
